Retreats
Take time away to hone your skills and embody your learning.
My favorite thing to do
I absolutely love retreat work! I like getting away from the daily hustle and bustle. I like creating space to settle in and explore the inner world with the luxury of time and ease. I’ve been leading retreats for both clients and colleagues for over 20 years. There is a magic that happens in these spaces.
If you want an intensive emersion in the art of teaching self-authorship, consider doing a retreat with me. I will review, train, and equip you with the tools, basic through advanced, for moving clients into the empowered role of designing and celebrating their lives.
There is nothing more powerful than a room full of therapists working on the common goal of improving their practice. I make this happen in my weekend retreats. Come sit in a comfortable beach cottage with the support of other like-minded professionals and learn, practice, and embody creative methods for increasing your impact in your work. I will enthusiastically help you dive deep into learning, explore new tools, practice teaching strategies, and build confidence in your work.
Take care of your inner world
In a retreat setting you will be encouraged to apply the psychological wisdom you are learning about for use in your practice, to your own life. Expanding your psychological sophistication keeps your best tool, yourself, at it’s sharpest, allowing you to experience the utility and naturally teach these skills to others. Doing this level of preparedness makes you an expert guide for your clients. You can’t take them where you haven’t been. Retreats are not a substitute for your own therapy but they will help you embody and apply skillful living to your own personal development.
To keep informed about upcoming retreats, simply send me a note telling me your interest and I’ll make sure to keep you posted.
